Trub separation
With the Clarisaver, Meura has optimised the alternative for the traditional whirlpool . This wort settling tank technology makes it possible to recover hot trub during the wort cooling. This allows recycling of the non-oxidised trub. When this trub is recycled, an OBY of 100% is possible in conjunction with a Meura 2001 mash filter technology.

This equipment does not allow the recycling of the trub cone formed at the end of separation. Since this trub is oxydised, it leads to extract loss of 1.5 to 2 % with a good whirlpool. Therefore, the Clarisaver is the recommended technology.
